  • “There are few ingredients, which have come on the market, with as much research and excitement as CBD.”

Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of the two main cannabinoids present in cannabis. Unlike Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), CBD has no psychoactive properties, and has been extensively studied for medical benefits. Clinical trials and other scientific research, illustrate CBD’s usefulness in treating pain, anxiety, inflammation, depression, addiction and numerous other conditions.

  • CBD, one of over 60 different compounds present in the hemp plant

and is being attributed to a wide range of therapeutic benefits, is extracted from industrial hemp genetically selected for their very low THC concentration. Any remaining THC is removed entirely through processing. Thus, a person taking purified CBD will not be exposed to THC.

  • Preclinical trials over the past four decades have found that

hemp-derived CBD shows promise as an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, neuroprotection, antidepressant, with many more to come!

  • Since CBD, like many of today’s therapeutic compounds are only

stable in a crystalline form, they often display poor aqueous solubility and low dissolution rates, thus reducing the bioavailability of the active and slowing absorption.  CSI offers the potential to open doors for new, important uses of CBD currently shelved due to its low bioavailability. Our water soluble CBD powder BioSolCBDTM is a microencapsulation in a cryoprotectant matrix containing a bio enhancer. As a stable powder, it can be used in many delivery forms similar to those in the pharma/nutraceutical arena.

  • The NIH confirms CBD is completely safe!

“Multiple small studies of CBD safety in humans in both placebo-controlled and open trials have demonstrated that it is well tolerated across a wide dosage range. No significant central nervous system side effects, or effects on vital signs or mood, have been seen at doses of up to 1500 mg/day (p.o.) or 30 mg (i.v.) in both acute and chronic administration.”
